cScape today announced that it has designed the visual personality for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s brand new information service. The first of its kind, HR-inform is a vast online resource of up-to-date, relevant information for HR professionals and practitioners around the world.
With the rapid rate of change in the world of work and the sheer volume of information, HR-inform will prove to be an invaluable tool for practitioners to keep up to date with the latest developments and implement key changes easily and effectively. As the CIPD Publishing Manager, Ruth Lake says “HR-inform offers reliable information that is easy to access and easy to apply – it will make everyday working life easier for busy HR professionals.” Commenting on cScape’s input, Ruth Lake goes on to say: “They have shown us that they fully understand our business objectives and our audiences’ needs. We are delighted with the creative output from cScape, our digital agency.”
As a departure from the main CIPD brand, cScape developed a unique product personality. Best practice User Centred Design methodologies were used in creating the interface, an intuitive navigation, and an ‘office friendly’ video player that defaults to subtitles with sound switched off. In addition to the website, cScape designed email communication to alert users to any changes as well as enable access to user account information. The result gives the online product a sense of quality and professionalism on a par with the CIPDs reputation as the UK’s leading professional body for personnel and development.
Ed Lloyd-Williams, Creative Director, cScape says: “It is a pleasure to work for a client who values Human Centred Design as much as CIPD. Our work to create HR-inform has been guided by users to create an exemplar site of up to date HR knowledge.”
